Since Clark is 8 this year, I knew I’d have to get creative if I wanted to keep the tradition alive. Since we’ve been around the house a lot lately, I’ve been keeping the kids busy hunting eggs and having fun. I’m sharing three ideas I’ve come up with that I think you’ll love!

1. Jigsaw Puzzle Egg Hunt

This hunt can be done anywhere, and only requires a small amount of prep on your end. I purchased a set of blank jigsaw puzzles from Amazon, and used permanent markers to decorate it and write a message to the kids. I placed a puzzle piece in each egg for them to put together. They absolutely loved it!

2. Easter Egg Glow Hunt

Since the weather has warmed up and the kids haven’t had a reason to get up early, we have spent a lot of time outside after dark. Hunting for eggs at night is a super cool experience that Clark and Penelope thought was awesome!

I used small battery-operated LED candles in my eggs, but small glow sticks give the same effect. They’re slightly tricky to get in the eggs, but work great!

3. Scavenger Egg Hunt

I had a lot of fun with this one! I created a little scavenger hunt to use with 12 eggs. This one is done inside the house, so it’s perfect for a rainy day! I’m sharing the FREE printable for you to download and use with your family.
